Our philosophy

Deliberate by nature. Decisive by design.

For three decades, our family has built on one conviction: a reputation takes a lifetime to earn and a moment to lose. So we never chase what is fashionable. We study a sector in depth, test it with trusted partners at home and abroad, and enter only when the data and the ground agree. Once we commit, we commit fully, and we do it to perfection.

Practice & public markets

The practice is founded in New Delhi, and its insight into how businesses grow leads early into listed equities.

2000 – 2015

Land & development

With the practice established, the family aggregates land early in NCR's growth corridors and develops it as demand arrives.

2014 – today

Private markets

Private markets become the next frontier, with a dedicated team backing founders directly.

2014 – 2020

LP positions

The family backs specialist managers as an LP, learning each strategy from the inside.

2020 onwards

GP positions

Sponsor and GP of its own SEBI-registered funds: Seafund, SG Real Estate and SG Equity.

Hospitality

Boutique hotels built on the family's own land, turning held parcels into long-term income.

We find the land before the city does.

Since the 2000s the family has taken projects from land accumulation, licensing to finished asset: warehousing and logistics, farmhouses and hotels. In hospitality we identify the land, design, develop and own the property.

A Fellow Chartered Accountant with more than thirty years in financial services and real estate. He founded the practice in 1993 and leads SSA Real Estate and the hospitality business. He is Sponsor of Seafund and SG Real Estate.

Leads SSA Capital across private markets, public markets and real estate, and is Principal at Seafund. Northwestern University graduate, formerly with Microsoft, Deloitte and American Express in the US, with ten years in Indian startups as founder and investor.
